To inspire their latest campaign, Spotify teamed with Wieden+Kennedy New York to glean insights from the streaming service’s data. Their discoveries ranged from listeners’ love of ’80s nostalgia, to current political anxieties.
In this :30 spot, Spotify reveals that Pope Francis dropped a rock album, and it has “1,500 devout listeners per week.” We see sisters quietly rocking out to themselves as they go about their work in their place of worship.
