Director Tarsem (The Fall, Mirror Mirror, Selfless, etc.) of Radical Media and renowned DOP Colin Watkinson shot this beautiful Dubai tourism piece conceived by BBDO.
This huge project involved more than 80 on-location staff, helicopters, sky divers, and underwater team, drone team, and of course, the time-lapse team and resulted in more than 40 hours of footage. Geoff Tompkinson and his team used hyperzoom to capture a complex 4k shot of the Burj Khalifa during the transition of day to night.
All of the finishing for this film was done by Significant Others, which included general cleanup and beautification throughout. To date, the film has been viewed over 27 million times on YouTube.
