Former NFL Hall-of-Famer Eric Dickerson fondly recalls meeting legendary Running Back Walter Payton during his first year in the league, the rewarding friendship that followed, and the lasting impression Payton left on him and on the league before he passed.
The “Football is Family” campaign, developed in conjunction with Grey and NFL Films director Sam Howard, seeks to reveal and highlight the heart at the center of the league.
Significant Others was responsible for finishing and compositing over 15 spots, each with a unique combination of stock and archival footage, combined with intimate interviews to create visually rich commercials. Each of the films featured its own unique end transition from the live action footage to the “Football is Family” tag line, marrying the archival and interview footage to reveal the NFL crest.
